A while back eBay annouced that they were no longer going to allow Canadians to collect eBay anything Points (there goes my ebay mastercard). Now finally they had come to there senses and done something great. They bought out Skype for 2.6 billion dollars. It's an awsome program i use at work and will soon be using at home. It's VOIP, Voice Over IP, basically you can make phone calls to anyone landline or cell (this is known as Skype Out) and skype users. Since they bought them out eBay is allowing everyone to phone US and Canada free until the end of the year. Not like it will cost you much after 0.024 cents a minute anywhere in Canada. When you spend 20 bucks a month on a restricted (only after 6pm, before 8 am or weekends) long-distance plan it only makes sense to switch. Google missed out bigtime not buying them out.
